This Privacy Policy describes how 9499-4852 Québec inc. ("Lyvico", "we") collects, uses and protects personal data in connection with Lyvicar. We comply with applicable legislation in Quebec (including Law 25) and Canada.
1. Controller
The data controller is 9499-4852 Québec inc., based in Quebec, Canada. To exercise your rights or make inquiries, contact us at info@lyvico.com. The person in charge of the protection of personal information, designated under Quebec’s Law 25, can be reached at info@lyvico.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) account data (name, email, credentials); (b) data you enter to run your shop (customers, vehicles, orders, invoices); (c) payment data, processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers); (d) technical usage data (logs, IP address, browser).
3. How we use data
We use data to provide and maintain the service, process payments, send operational communications (invoices, notices), provide support and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Providers we use
We share data with providers that help us operate: Stripe (payment processing), Hostinger (email services), Twilio (SMS delivery), Anthropic (artificial-intelligence features — see section 5) and Google (an advertising measurement cookie, set only with your consent). Each processes data under its own policies and only for the stated purposes.
5. Artificial intelligence
The estimate module calls Anthropic’s API (Claude) to generate suggestions for parts, labor and prices. Only the information needed for the estimate — such as the vehicle and job description — is transmitted. No information that identifies your customers (name, contact details) is sent to the AI provider, and under its commercial API terms, Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
6. Your customers’ data
As a shop, you enter data about your own customers. With respect to that data, you are the controller and we act as a provider processing it on your behalf. You must have the legal basis to process it.
7. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After the account is closed, we retain it for six (6) years, as required by Canadian tax and accounting laws, then delete or anonymize it securely. Daily backups have a limited retention and are overwritten automatically.
8. Hosting and transfers outside Quebec
The platform is hosted on servers located in the United States. Your personal information may therefore be stored and processed outside Quebec and Canada. Before entrusting information to a provider outside Quebec, we assess the protections offered and bind them contractually, in accordance with Law 25.
9. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data: encryption in transit, access control and backups. No system is completely foolproof, but we work to reduce risks.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal information, rectify it, request its deletion, withdraw your consent, and request portability of your data in a structured format. To exercise these rights, write to info@lyvico.com. You may also file a complaint with Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI).
11. Cookies
Our website uses a single non-essential cookie: a Google advertising measurement cookie that tells us whether our ads lead to real visits. It is set only after you consent through the banner shown for that purpose. Your choice is stored for 180 days and can be changed at any time via the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the site. No profiling cookies, no data resale.

We may update this policy. We will post the current version on this page and indicate the update date.
